Muna Easa Al Gurg, is an Emirati businesswoman and philanthropist from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is known to engage in strategic giving and investing in impactful initiatives.

Muna is the Vice Chairperson and Director of Retail at the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group and also serves on several boards of for-profit and non-profit organisations.

Muna believes in sharing resources to benefit others in need. She is passionate about making a tangible impact through her focussed commitment to empower women and girls in the Arab world.

As part of the Al Gurg family, known for their dedication to give back to society, her earliest contributions included a pivotal role in establishing the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation. The Foundation has emerged as one of the UAE’s pioneering charitable foundations and helped set a precedent for philanthropy in the UAE.

Since 2015, the Muna Easa Al Gurg Scholarship at London Business School, has provided over AED1.5 million in financial assistance, enabling aspiring women from the Middle East to pursue their educational goals and accelerate their careers.

Muna’s dedication to the progress of young UAE Nationals led to her being appointed to the board of the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development, where she served until 2023. Her involvement and financial contributions helped support the creation of several opportunities for Emirati youth across the UAE.

Expanding her philanthropic efforts beyond borders, Muna has left an indelible mark in various parts of the world. Notably, she has spearheaded the construction of a school in Bwejuu, Zanzibar, providing education to 300 children. In addition, her support for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund assisted in improving the lives of children facing adversity.

Recognizing the importance of gender equality and diversity, Muna Easa Al Gurg is an active member of the ‘30% Club’, an organization that promotes gender balance in leadership positions. Moreover, her involvement as a member of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees Sustainability Board underscores her commitment to addressing crucial humanitarian concerns.

As a Founding Board member of Endeavor UAE, and investor in Mindshift Capital, Muna has been instrumental in fostering entrepreneurial growth and development within the region. Her strategic guidance and forward-thinking approach served as a catalyst to the success of numerous startups and innovators.
