UNICEF distributes emergency dignity kits which include basic sanitary and feminine hygiene products for women and girls. Given the crisis situation in Gaza, supporting emergency health relief initiatives is critical.
UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Its activities include disease prevention, enhancing childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation and providing emergency relief. UNICEF is providing emergency humanitarian relief in the Gaza Strip following the conflict on October 7 in the Gaza Strip.
The UNICEF WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program provides access to clean water, basic toilets, and good hygiene practices. Through WASH, dignity kits which include sanitary and feminine hygiene products will be distributed within the Gaza Strip to women and girls.
